Due to its sturdy design, it can be used for variety of uses.
Most common use is to stick the heater to the side of the tank effectively.
It can also be used for inlet or outlet pipes of canister filters.
I use these to hold my long airstone level. It then keeps my airstone off the bottom a couple of inches and it looks brilliant!
